The Power Of Your Thoughts.
Updated: Apr 28, 2019
Have you ever noticed how powerful your thoughts can be?
How powerful a positive or a negative comment can be?
Thats something I’ve noticed a lot recently how negativity is like a plague. It only takes one person to express a negative thought to infect everyone around them. Sometimes we just can’t help it either, you're having a bad day or going through some things that are getting you down and you let out one small negative comment. All that comment does is grow and spread. Maybe a good goal to set is to be more positive, try and pay attention to the effect your positivity has on others around you and more importantly on yourself! I keep talking about how it effects everyone around you, but actually the main person it effects is you. We are all entitled to have down days and allow ourselves to feel a little down. Lets face it we are all human! But I think you'd be surprised at how those lows would decrease from a whole day/couple of days to maybe half a day/ few hours. Get up go outside, take a walk or do some exercise and you will soon start to feel better.
Meditation can help a huge amount when it comes to our thoughts. We all need to learn to switch off and take a time out from our lives. Especially in this day and age when the pace of life is so fast, its easy to get lost in whats going on around us, what we need to be doing, should have done or going to do. Detangle the mind, allow yourself to focus only on yourself and allow everything around you to come to a stand still. When you have too much going on at one time its so easy to become stressed and it takes such a toll on our lives and our mental state, I definitely recommend starting meditation to help with this.
There are many different ways of going about it and learning how to go about it;

You'd be surprised at actually how many times a day you meditate without even realising it.
I would like to set a goal to practice and explore more meditation. I always say I will but of course it always gets put on the back burner. Maybe I will report back in a month and let you know how I get on. The goal I want to set is to tap into myself more through meditation, allow my mind to become still and to feel a sense of peace. To stop all the fuzziness that can go on within my head, all the unnecessary thoughts, all the negative thoughts.
